A. Order & Purchasing Process

What is your order process?
  • Submit your inquiry via our Contact page with your requirements and contact information.
  • Our team will review specifications and provide product recommendations.
  • Quotation and order details are provided within 1–2 business days.
What is the typical lead time?
  • Lead time varies by product type and order quantity.
  • Standard production: Approximately 45–60 working days.
  • Expedited production: Can be evaluated based on the production schedule, and our team will advise on the earliest feasible delivery timeline.
What are the payment terms and methods?
  • Standard trade term: FOB Taiwan.
  • Payment schedule: 30% deposit upon order, 70% balance before shipment.
  • Other payment methods or trade terms can be discussed upon request.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
  • There is no fixed MOQ for our products.
  • For production efficiency and export logistics, orders of USD 5,000 or above are recommended under FOB Taiwan
  • Orders below USD 5,000 are accepted, but the trade term will be EXW (Ex Works).
Do you provide commercial quotations or customized solutions?
  • We provide commercial quotations, OEM / ODM development, custom logo, custom packaging, and specification customization
  • Please provide your requirements and estimated order quantity
  • Our team will recommend suitable product solutions and provide a quotation accordingly
How does brand or logo customization work?
  • We offer logo marking, brand identification, and OEM branding services
  • Please provide your logo file (AI, EPS, PDF, or high-resolution PNG) and specify:
    Marking location
    Processing method (laser marking, stamping, printing, etc.)
  • Based on the product material and model, our team will advise on the most suitable branding method
Do you offer custom packaging?
  • Custom packaging services are available
  • Please provide packaging requirements, such as:
    Logo or branded packaging design
    Individual, set, or project-based packaging
    Preferred materials (carton box, plastic, color box, etc.)
  • Packaging solutions and quotations are provided based on product type,shipment volume, and branding needs

B. OEM / ODM & Product Development

Do you accept OEM / ODM orders?
  • Yes, we accept OEM / ODM orders
  • With nearly 35 years of experience in door hardware development and manufacturing, we provide end-to-end solutions including:
    Product design
    Tooling and mold development
    Functional development
    Material selection
    Mass production
What is the sample lead time for OEM / ODM development?
  • 6–10 weeks: For relatively simple molds or standard designs.
  • 8–12 weeks: For complex structures or molds with multiple components.
  • Estimated timelines are provided after drawing confirmation, with regular progress updates during development
What information is required for a quotation?
  • To provide an accurate quotation, please provide:
  • 2D / 3D drawings or physical samples
  • Material, dimensions, structure, or functional requirements
  • Estimated order quantity per batch or annually
  • Surface finishing requirements (plating, coating, powder coating, etc.)
  • Logo or packaging customization requirements, if applicable
  • Upon receipt of complete information, our team will evaluate and provide a formal quotation

C. Samples

How long does it take to receive samples?
  • Sample preparation and shipment for standard products depend on stock availability and finishing requirements
  • In-stock/Semi-finished: Shipped within 3–7 days.
  • Special specifications/Finishing: 7–14 days.
Do you provide samples for testing or display?
  • Yes, samples are available for functional testing, evaluation, display, or project approval
  • Samples may be provided free of charge or at a discounted cost, depending on the product and application
  • Our team will recommend the most suitable sample arrangement based on your needs

D. Product & Quality Assurance

Do you provide product certifications or test reports?
  • Yes, our panic exit devices comply with UL 305 requirements
  • Official certification documents or technical data can be provided upon request
  • We also have the capability to manufacture products that meet CE requirements for the European market. (Please note that CE certificates are issued under the client’s name, so we cannot provide CE certificates to other customers, but we can support CE-compliant production for your projects.)
How do you ensure product quality and safety?
  • Our door hardware products are manufactured in accordance with applicable international standards/li>
  • Quality control is implemented throughout the entire production process, including:
    Incoming material inspection
    In-process inspection
    Final inspection with photo records and traceability
  • All assembly operations are performed by experienced technicians to ensure product safety, durability, and consistency
Do you provide spare parts?
  • Yes, we offer a full range of spare parts and replacement components for our products
  • Please provide the product model and your requirements, and our team will recommend suitable replacement parts

E. After-sales Service & Return Policy

What is your after-sales service process?
  • If you encounter any issues during installation or use of our products, please email well.laud@well-laud.com
  • Include a description of the issue along with relevant photos or videos
  • Our team will respond within 1–2 business days to assist with troubleshooting and solutions
Do you offer a return or replacement policy?
  • Yes, we provide return or replacement support for product defects, missing parts, functional issues, or shipping damage
  • Please contact us as soon as the issue is identified, and our team will assist with appropriate corrective actions
What is the procedure for returns?

Email with the issue description, photos/videos of the defect, and shipping documents/order number. We will contact you within 1–2 business days to arrange replacement.

F. Shipping & Logistics

Do you provide international shipping support?
  • Our standard trade term is FOB Taiwan
  • We can assist with international shipping (sea or air freight) and basic customs-related support, including:
    Recommending reliable freight forwarders
    Coordinating with your designated forwarder
    Providing complete shipping documents (commercial invoice, packing list, etc.)
    Preparing required documents for customs clearance
  • Special logistics or documentation requirements can be reviewed and supported upon request

G. Sustainability

Do you have sustainability initiatives?
  • Yes, we are committed to environmental responsibility and sustainable development
  • We participate in Taiwan’s government-led carbon reduction and net-zero initiatives, including carbon footprint assessment and emission management
  • We plan to obtain third-party carbon assessment or carbon neutrality certifications to align with international sustainability standards
