Installation Steps
- Measure and Mark: Confirm door width and offset; mark the precise centerlines for the bolt and frame receiver based on the technical template.
- Prepare Door Stile: Cut the opening on the face of the door stile and drill mounting holes as specified.
- Install Rod Guide: Mount the rod guide to the door’s top rail edge to provide a stable path for the extension rod.
- Connect Rod to Body: Thread the steel extension rod into the flush bolt body before inserting the assembly into the door.
- Insert and Mount: Guide the rod through the pre-installed rod guide while sliding the bolt body into the prepared recess; secure the body with the provided screws.
- Prepare Strike Hole: Locate the strike position on the door frame’s top jamb and drill the receiver hole to the required depth.
- Adjust and Secure: Fine-tune the rod height so the nylon tip engages the frame properly when extended; tighten the locknut to secure the rod to the bolt body.
