Installation Overview

• Door Preparation: Transfer the vertical and reference centerlines from the inside face to the outside face of the door. Locate and drill all installation holes precisely as indicated on the template.
• Adjust Handing: To change the lever direction, remove the retaining screw, rotate the handle, and reinstall the screw. Ensure the black side of the star washer faces upwards and tighten securely.
• Mount Trim and Secure Screws: Position the trim on the exterior face of the door. Secure the mounting screws tightly into the trim's hex studs.
• Connect and Lock Exit Device: Position the latch end of the interior exit device over the projecting screws. Ensure the actuator shaft projects 1/8” to 3/16” from the door skin for proper engagement, then secure tightly with the washers and nuts.
• Final Verification: Verify smooth lever movement and ensure that pressing the exterior lever freely retracts the exit device latch before putting into service.
